ARF depends solely upon volunteers to carry out our mission – we have no paid employees, so more money goes directly to the animals.
Volunteering with ARF is ideal for animal lovers who aren’t able to accommodate a set shift each week at a shelter or have only weekends available. You can volunteer for whatever fits your schedule! ARF offers a variety of fun & rewarding opportunities including special events, fundraising, marketing and adoption events. We can also use help with simple things such as distributing flyers, baking dog biscuits, collecting items for donation or transporting cats to our partner Petco.
ARF welcomes teen volunteers ages 13 – 17 with parental supervision, focus and dedication to helping animals.
