Planned Giving

Making a planned gift to ARF is a profound way to carry on your compassion for the welfare of the animals of Snohomish County. A planned gift can be as simple as naming ARF as a beneficiary in your will, life insurance policy or other qualified asset.

Perhaps the most straightforward option is to make a bequest in your will. Naming ARF as a beneficiary will provide clear direction for your personal representative of the exact amount you wish to be donated from your estate.

Other options for planned giving include your designation of ARF as a full or partial beneficiary of your life insurance policy, retirement plan, or other investment accounts such as Certificates of Deposit or IRAs. In some instances, these accounts fall outside the probate process and benefits are paid directly to ARF.

Please consult with your attorney and/or tax specialist to plan the gift best suited for your wishes. If you have chosen to support ARF with an estate gift, please contact us at donate@everettarf.org so that we may thank you and make a record of your donation.
